Susan comes back to her native Baltimore after almost thirty years in Manhattan where she worked for over 25 years as an advertising illustrator specializing in television commercials and finished illustration for books. She was an ajunct instructor at the Fashion Institute of Technology for four years and instructor at the National College of Art and Design which was the art wing of Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland.

Susan was represented for over 10 years by the prestigious O.K.Harris Gallery in SoHo New York who discovered and represented Andy Warhol along with some of the finest realist painters in the country. She is also represented locally in Hampden by the Antreasian Gallery, in Federal Hill by The Light Street Gallery, in Ellicott City by the Sheppard Gallery, and the DeMatteis Gallery in Annapolis.

She brings us finite realism in the medium of watercolor painted with the tiniest of brushes on a smooth, heavy, French paper and her subject matter is the Baltimore of the 30’s and 40’s before the harbor became gentrified and when Baltimore’s over 100 movie theaters packed in hundreds of people almost every day. She is interested in the Charm City legend and searches for its origin.
